Without the Calories recipes
Justine Pattison’s recipes and diet plans make losing weight as easy as 1-2-3. Her dishes are ingeniously satisfying and flavourful, but are all amazingly low in calories. the new books in her Without the Calories series include not only pasta and rice dishes but also, unbelievably, cakes, cookies and bread. With so many recipes to choose from we’ve had our work cut out choosing our favourites, but here’s our first pick, and watch out for more later in the month.
From the Easy One Pot collection, this Chinese Braised Beef with Noodles is the perfect mid-week supper as it is ready in over 15 minutes!
This Tuscan Pork Ragu (main pic), taken from the Pasta and Rice book, feels like a real treat but is only 508 calories per serving.
These Lemon and White Chocolate Biscuits are double-baked (like biscotti) so are really crunchy, and full of lemony flavour. They are taken from the Cakes, Cookies and Bread collection.
