Our Korean Kitchen by Jordan Bourke and Rejina Pyo triumphed at last night’s prestigious Fortnum & Mason Food & Drink Awards to take home the prize for best cookery book.
Now in their fourth year, the annual Fortnum & Mason Food and Drink Awards celebrate the best writing, publishing and broadcasting on the subjects of food and drink. There are 14 categories and an independent panel of professional judges, led by Ewan Venters, CEO of Fortnum & Mason, selects the winners from work published or broadcast during 2015.
Our Korean Kitchen is a celebration of the food, culture and flavours of Korea, a cuisine that is fast becoming the biggest trend in the culinary world. Critically acclaimed chef and food writer Jordan Bourke and his Korean wife Rejina Pyo provide a cultural history of the food of Korea giving context to the recipes that follow.
