Ingredient of the Month: Crab recipes from Angela Hartnett


Each month we’re going to pick some favourite recipes featuring our hero ingredient of the month. For May, we’ve chosen crab, and we’ve got two stunning recipes from Angela Hartnett, to share.

Making your own pasta might seem intimidating, but Angela’s squid ink linguine can be made in a food processor, and can even be made without a pasta machine. It’s then used as the base of this Crab and Chilli Squid Ink Linguine recipe (taken from Saturday Kitchen Suppers).

Crab Cakes by Angela Hartnett

A great starter is these Crab Cakes. They can be made in advance and kept in the fridge overnight for super-easiness. This recipe is taken from The Great British Food Revival.
